Reno Fire Department investigators are looking for a man suspected of setting some furniture on fire inside the Club Cal Neva Hotel Casino on East 2nd Street. It happened Tuesday around 3 a.m. Investigators say the man attempted to set multiple fires by setting lit matches on slot machines, and in planters. After he successfully ignited a piece of casino furniture, he then returned to the scene of the fire and watched efforts to extinguish it. Reno Fire is concerned this may have been a practice-run for a larger event.  If you recognize the man, you’re asked to call the Reno Fire Department or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
