Sparks Police Department Explorers and Advisors are hosting a fundraiser at the Sparks Department, “Photos with Santa,” December 9th from 4pm to 7pm. The Explorer program was created for people ages 14-20 to experience many aspects of law enforcement. The program is supervised by advisors who are police officers and emergency communication dispatchers. Under the tutelage of advisors, Explorers learn and practice criminal investigations, traffics stops, radio procedures and handcuffing to name a few. The fundraisers are for the Explorers to purchase their equipment and fund their participation in explorer competitions. Drop by the Sparks Police Department 1701 E.
