56 year old James Leo Hamrick of Dayton was sentenced for First Degree Murder with the Use of a Deadly Weapon in the killing of his sister in law Toni Marie Davis. He was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole in 20 years, and a consecutive 15 year term for the use of a deadly weapon, a small caliber handgun. He also got a year for a destruction of evidence charge. Ms Davis’s body was found about three weeks after the April 28th 2016 killing.
