While tracking coyotes in the Elko area on the morning of Saturday 12/2 with three others, a hunter was accidentally shot by one of them. Elko Sheriff’s Office says when they arrived on the scene of the shooting near South Fork Road, they found Kevin Vella had been shot by his hunting partner, Jamie Salazar. Vella is expected to make a full recovery.
