The Washoe County School District is again asking the community to participate in a budget survey, as part of what it says is “its ongoing commitment to using taxpayer funds efficiently, sharing information, and gathering public input.” The results of the survey will be compiled by staff and presented to the Board of Trustees for consideration during budget discussions beginning in February 2018. The budget survey asks for input regarding budget priorities and possible cost reduction measures in both instruction and operations, and is anonymous. Respondents will be asked for general demographic information, but have the option to decline to provide it. Find links to the survey on the Washoe County Schools website.
