Reno fire crews knocked down two brush fires that broke out just before midnight last night. One brush fire broke out near the Walmart in the Damonte Ranch area. That fire caused a portion of the roadway to be closed in both directions. The Reno Fire Department said the cause of the fire is unknown. A downed power line is being blamed for another brush fire on Sunnyvale Avenue. All roads have reopened.
