You can find some strange things in peoples luggage at the airport. But at Las Vegas McCarran International, it was still a surprise to find a dead cougar carcass in a bag. The cougar was legally shot, and had a Utah Game tag. But the Cougar was not put on the plane, it was sent to the man’s home separately. It’s not illegal to transport game by commercial airlines, but airlines do have some discretion over the matter.
