There is a 25-acre brush fire increasing at a slow-speed in the Pinenut Mountains in Douglas County between Gardnerville and Topaz Lake, the East fork Fire Protection District reports. The Holiday Fire started at about 7 p.m. The cause of the fire is not known. It is burning near where the Preacher Fire burned previously.
