A repeat offender has been arrested and charged after being found in a stolen truck. January 3rd, detectives with the Northern Nevada Repeat Offender Program were conducting surveillance on Keith Sullivan. Detectives saw Sullivan driving a 2014 Ford F150 that had been stolen from Reno GMC/Cadillac. Detectives tried to arrest Sullivan while he slept in the truck in the parking lot of Pickett Park in Reno. Detectives say as they moved in Sullivan woke up, jumped in the driver’s seat, and tried to ram his way through police vehicles. Sullivan ran from the truck and was arrested after a short foot chase. Detectives found stolen property in the bed of the truck, and after additional follow-up, determined Sullivan had used the truck to burglarize the Renown Children’s Cancer Research Center.
