“Wallet Hub” Suggests Nevada Isn’t a Good Place for Families

Another one of those “WalletHub.com” report cards has low marks for Nevada. The state was ranked 41st in the country for the “Best Place to Raise a Family.” They ranked on issues of Family Fun, Health and Safety, Education and other criteria. New Mexico was worse, coming in at 50th, Massachusetts was ranked number one. Nevada was ranked worst for separation and divorce rates, 48th for violent crime, 31st for families in poverty, 44th for Median Family Salary adjust for cost of living, and 47th for child care costs.
