Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Captain Joe Duffy is announcing his candidacy for Sheriff. Captain Duffy has been with the DCSO since 1995. Current Sheriff Ron Pierini will not be running for a sixth term. He told the Record-Courier, after 21 years as sheriff it is time to step down.
