The California Highway Patrol says the driver believed to have caused a fatal three-vehicle crash Saturday will be charged with DUI after being released from a hospital. 21-year-old Edgar Delgado of Tahoe Vista was driving an Audi on State Route 267 southbound, south of Highlands View Road. He crossed over the double yellow lines and side-swiped a Toyota SUV being driven by a Kings Beach woman, then continued further into the northbound lane and hit a Subaru head-on. The Subaru driver, 35-year-old Christopher Anderson of Kings Beach, was killed. Delgado was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center with trauma and will be charged with DUI when released. The driver of the Toyota was not hurt.
