Crews responded to a fire that burned four backyards in the Gardnerville Ranchos late Wednesday afternoon. One outbuilding was burned and a car was damaged in the fire near Arrowhead & Muir Drive. According to officials, the cause of the fire appears to be winds causing electrical lines to arc.
