Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and Sparks Fire are investigating an early morning house fire on Hercules Drive in Spanish Springs. The fire was first reported just after 12:30 this morning. When crews arrived they found a house fully engulfed in flames. One person living in the home was able to get himself safely away from the fire before crews arrived on scene. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation. According to officials the fire was contained to the house, but say it was a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
