Steve Wynn Resigns as Finance Chair for Republican National Committee

Amidst allegations of sexual misconduct, casino mogul Steve Wynn has resigned as the finance chair for the Republican National Committee.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Wynn has displayed chronic sexual harassment and a decades-long pattern of sexual misconduct, including pressuring employees to perform sex acts. One manicurist was paid $7.5-million dollars after Wynn had what she called “forced sex” with her.
Wynn denied the allegations, telling the Journal, “The idea that I ever assaulted any woman is preposterous.” He added that “the instigation of these accusations is the continued work of my ex-wife Elaine Wynn, with whom I am involved in a terrible and nasty lawsuit.”
Wynn has been a prolific Republican donor and led republican fundraising efforts during President Donald Trump’s first year.
