Doral Academy of Northern Nevada, a tuition-free, arts-integrated, public charter school, is breaking ground at its new permanent location in Reno Wednesday. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the new school is being held at the construction site just across from Galena High School on Butch Cassidy Dr. Both Governor Brian Sandoval and Commissioner Bob Lucey will be speaking at the event. Doral Academy of Northern Nevada will offer classes for grades K-8 and will be open for the 2018-2019 school year. The school is currently accepting applications for interested families and students.
