Three people have been sentenced after being convicted of trafficking guns from Nevada to California. 27 year old Richard Straight, 26 year old Jenna Allec, both of Oakland, and Kenneth Lee Kemp of Elko made plea bargains to get reduced sentences. Straight admitted being middleman in the sale of at least 39 guns in Nevada. He was sentenced to 42 months in prison. Kemp was sentenced to 14 months in prison after buying 21 guns in the Reno area and selling them in Oakland. Allec was sentenced to four years’ probation after admitting to illegally selling 18 guns bought in Nevada.
