In his state of the City Speech, Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell says the capital city is healthy and fiscally sound. The mayor says they’ve bounced back from the recession, and that broad-based economic recovery is reflected in consumer spending as both employment and wages trend upwards. Challenges still ahead include road maintenance, and more downtown and parks improvements.
