With a wide open race for Sheriff in Douglas County, the field is getting crowded. Dean Paris has announced his candidacy to succeed Sheriff Ron Pierini, who is not running again. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Captains Joe Duffy and Dan Coverley are also running, along with former Reserve Deputy Sheriff Dave Brady.
