You can enjoy Animal Ark residents in their winter coats. Enjoy watching animals play in their winter wonderland at 6,000 feet. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Animal Ark is located north of Reno on 38 acres and primarily features native North American predators, though a few exotic species have found a home there. Animal Ark educates tens of thousands of children and adults a year about ecological principles and wildlife by providing special programming events and educational tours.
