Two people were killed in a crash that closed U.S. 50 in both directions at Cheyenne Trail near Silver Springs. Vehicles were being diverted onto the dirt road around the accident. The crash was reported at 2:54 p.m Thursday between Silver Springs and Stagecoach. Two vehicles were involved, a Ford pickup and a Honda Civic.
