(KOH) – A Reno woman was killed in a crash just before 8 a.m. Friday in south Reno. Police say the driver of a Mini Cooper was trying to turn left from Brittany Meadows to go west onto Steamboat Parkway. She was hit by the driver of a Nissan pickup traveling east on Steamboat Parkway. The driver of the Mini Cooper, 73-year-old Bonnie Saviers of Reno, was killed at the scene.
One other person was taken to a hospital by REMSA.
