The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says one body was found inside the wreckage of a small plane yesterday afternoon. Witnesses had reported seeing the twin engine Piper PA-34 Seneca go down around 11:30am in the vicinity of Hobo Hot Springs, in the northern portion of Douglas County. The crash site is on Washoe tribal land northwest of Minden-Tahoe Airport. The plane was headed to Minden from Bakersfield, California. The name of the pilot has not been released as the investigation continues.
