Some local eyesores may have a date with a wrecking ball. Jacobs Entertainment wants to tear down three motels and a vacant building on 4th street, as they continue a makeover on the west side of Downtown Reno. Among those targeted for removal, the 15 unit “Star of Reno,” along with the “Keno” and “El Ray” Motels. Local law enforcement calls the Star of Reno, Heroin Hotel, according to Jacobs.
