Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof says more than a dozen sex workers are off the job,and he’s losing tens of thousands of dollars a day after Nye County shut down one of his brothels over alleged building permitting violations. At issue are modifications made since 2010 to some trailers. The county described them as “stick built additions” that were not properly permitted or approved. Hof says Nye County is corrupt, and suggests this is a response to him being a GOP candidate for the assembly. Sunday, Nye County Sheriff’s Department deputies confiscated the brothel’s license and work cards.
