Home Prices on The Rise in Nevada

Nevada home prices crashed hard during the recent recession, and while prices are on the rise, they remain below pre-recession peaks in many places. Prices are slowly climbing back in Southern Nevada, as of January, the Las Vegas median home price was 265 thousand, well under it’s 315 thousand dollar peak, and well below median prices in Reno and Sparks. According to “Core Logic’s” report Las Vegas home prices fell 62%, and had the biggest bounce back after hitting bottom, 113%.
