If you live in Carson City, and you see smoke in the Timberline area, don’t be alarmed. The Carson City Fire Department is conducting a prescribed burn, and will be working on that operation throughout the rest of the week. You’ll likely see smoke until the weekend, as long as the weather cooperates. The burn was planned for a couple of weeks ago, but was postponed because of strong winds.
