A man hospitalized after an alleged hash oil explosion in Gardnerville, has been indicted on a charge of endangering a life while making a controlled substance, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office. 22 year old Adam Fitzgerald-Wermes, has a trial scheduled for May 8. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Investigators say Fitzgerald-Wermes caused an explosion in his kitchen using butane to concentrate THC.
