A home on Grosh Avenue in Dayton was destroyed by fire Thursday morning. The blaze sent one person to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. The northern Nevada chapter of the American Red Cross of is providing assistance to the displaced family. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
