Board members for the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development approved applications for 12 businesses throughout the state, which will create 654 new jobs, and nearly $500 million in capital investment. Governor Brian Sandoval says after leading the nation in private-sector job growth last year, Nevada is off to a strong start in 2018. For Northern Nevada, the board approved tax abatements for Aero Spec NDT Services, with 30 jobs; InternalDrive, Inc, with 14 jobs, MECP Reno 1, with 50 jobs; Monin Inc will bring 30 jobs; and Ellsworth Adhesives, with 18 jobs.
