The Nevada Department of Public Safety is holding a hiring event Saturday, March 24th, for candidates seeking a career in law enforcement and public safety. 80 positions are open within the Nevada DPS statewide, serving in the capacity of DPS Officer with the Nevada Highway Patrol, Parole and Probation Division, Capitol Police, and civilian positions, such as Public Safety Dispatcher. The event is being held at the Nevada DPS Northern Academy located at 2101 Snyder Avenue in Carson City from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. this coming Saturday.
