One Person Hospitalized After Crash With Snow Plow

One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning, after crashing into an Nevada Department of Transportation snowplow on US-395 north of Parr Boulevard. NHP trooper Matt McLaughlin said the crash involved a passenger vehicle and occurred in the northbound lanes at around 12:05 a.m. Saturday. REMSA transported the driver to Renown Regional Medical Center, but the snow plow driver was not hurt.  Meg Ragonese with NDOT said snow plow operators hold Class A commercial driver licenses to meet federal licensing requirements. Plow operators receive continual training on snow plow and other maintenance operations.
