Anglers, if you haven’t renewed your fishing license, now is the time. Last year’s license expired on the first of this month, and you need to get your new one for 2018 because the Nevada Department of Wildlife is stocking the Sparks Marina at the end of the month. The urban fishery will see 3,500 rainbows and 1,500 brown trout released on the 30th. Paradise Pond in Reno, Bailey’s Pond in Carson City, and Mitch Park Pond in Gardnerville will also be stocked that day.
