Sparks Police officers have arrested a suspect in a recent series of commercial burglaries in both Sparks and Reno, taking a pair of heroin user off the streets in the process. Officers pulled over a white BMW at 60 east Victorian Avenue Monday afternoon around 1:45. The officers arrested Reese Frye for possession of a controlled substance, they say they found heroin in his possession, and two misdemeanor warrants. Also arrested was Sunny Fajardo on a felony warrant for trafficking a controlled substance. Evidence was collected from the vehicle and both occupants were interviewed at the Sparks Police Department. Police say Frye confessed to ten different burglaries in Sparks and Reno, which he will be additionally charged with as the cases are completed.
