The Reno Fire Department knocked down a house fire on East 7th Street near Sutro Street early Friday morning. The fire was reported just before 4 a.m. When crews arrived on scene they say no one was in the home. Fire investigators say the house was boarded up because it’s scheduled to be demolished. They suspect squatters may be responsible for the fire, but the investigation continues.
