The City of Sparks is closing Wedekind Road this week in both directions from Farr Lane to Skyridge Lane. Sparks Public Works Manager Ron Korman says crews will be doing shoulder maintenance. The road will be closed from 7am to 2pm  through Wednesday, but residents will be allowed to get through to their homes.
