Easter Sunday this year comes on April 1st, but most Easter egg hunts in the Reno area are on Saturday, March 31. Like the Community Easter Egg Dash at Idlewild Park it’s free for kids preschool thru grade 6. There will be games, prizes, bounce houses, candy and the dash for over 350,000 candy-filled eggs. The Dash happens at 11:30 a.m. It’s hosted by The Bridge Church and the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. There’s an Easter Egg Hunt at Washoe Lake State Park – Saturday. Come and enjoy the free festivities and see the Easter Bunny. The Park is “entrance free” for this event. It’s hosted by the South Valley Volunteer Fire Department. From 12 noon to 2 p.m. Sparks Nazarene Church’s Community Easter Egg Hunt is Sunday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at 2200 El Rancho Dr. in Sparks.
