A woman says she’s happy she wasn’t dozing on her couch, after a car crashed into her apartment living room. The driver, 35 year old Asiwadur Khan is suspected of DUI, and faces additional charges for leaving the scene. It happened just after 12:30 a.m. Monday, at the Horizons Apartments on Double R Blvd. The driver drove off the road, hit a fence, then crashed into the living room of Susie Ferrano’s apartment. She says she didn’t hear a thing, and that police woke her up. Khan reportedly tried to back up and drive away, but was caught about a quarter of a mile from the scene.
