Nevada casinos topped the $1 billion mark in gaming revenues for the second consecutive month.
The state Gaming Control Board reported the $1.02 billion that casinos earned from gamblers was a 7.7 percent increase compared with the same month last year. Since last July, the “gaming win” has increased 2.3 percent. The state collected almost $44.2 million based on the taxable revenues for February. That’s actually a decrease from the almost $52 million collected in the same period in 2017.
