The Reno city council unanimously approved a motion Wednesday directing staff to hire a consultant to conduct a scientifically valid customer survey of both residential and commercial Waste Management customers. This comes after numerous Reno businesses were fined by the city of Reno for using companies other than Waste Management for their recycling services. The survey is expected to cost $15,000.
