Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened near the intersection of Neil Road and Peckham Lane.

Police say shortly after 10:00 pm Saturday, Reno Police officers responded to a commercial burglary in progress before the officer-involved shooting took place.

The condition of the person shot at is not known at this time.

No officers were hurt during the incident and the Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation because the officer-involved shooting protocol has being enacted.
