Reno Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash that sent three people to a hospital with major injuries. The crash happened around 8:45 last night on McCarran Boulevard near Mira Loma Drive. Reno police say a black Jeep Cherokee had broken down and pulled to the side of the road, just north of the intersection. Another car then arrived to help the Jeep restart. All three occupants were out of their cars when a third vehicle traveling north on South McCarran, struck both vehicles and their passengers. One of the victims is a teenager and is suffering life threatening injuries. The driver was arrested after attempting to flee the scene. She was also charged with battery on an officer and resisting arrest.
