Reno Elks Lodge Honors Public Safety Dispatchers

(KOH) – Members of Reno Elks Lodge 597 plan to serve up an appreciation lunch for Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and City of Reno public safety dispatchers Sunday, to kick off National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. Lodge members believe that part of their service includes helping to recognize those who deserve recognition for their contribution to our community. They plan to be at the Reno Public Safety Dispatch Center on Spectrum Boulevard at 10:00 a.m. with sandwiches, veggies, side salads, and drinks. After they are done at the Reno center, they plan to bring similar meals to dispatchers in the City of Sparks and Storey County.
