Two men who made a run for it, as Washoe County Deputies closed in, are in custody, after an incident at South Virginia and Peckham Tuesday afternoon. Deputies with a K-9 unit tried to stop the vehicle as part of an illegal drug investigation, and say the driver slammed on his brakes several times, trying to get a patrol car to rear end him. They jumped out of the car at Longley and Rio Pico, one man was arrested there. The other tried to get into homes across McCarran Blvd, before he was arrested. In all Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three men and one woman as part of the drug and weapons case.
