The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is shutting down a section of Prater Way early next week for paving. Eastbound Prater between Rock and El Rancho will close Monday through early May as part of the 4th Street/Prater Way Bus RAPID Transit Project, with the westbound side remaining open. RTC will have detours in place, and once that section’s paved, crews will move on to the striping phase. You can still access businesses along the route.
