Sparks Police Department is searching for a armed suspect robbed a Chevron convenience store and threatened an employee.

Police say the incident happened around 6:15 pm. Saturday at 1600 Victorian Avenue.

The suspect demanded money from the cash register and threatened the clerk with a knife.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and is described as a white or Hispanic male in his mid 40’s.
