Nevada Democrats are calling on Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Laxalt to return the $10,000 contribution he received from disgraced former RNC official and GOP mega-donor Elliott Broidy. Broidy maxed out to Laxalt’s campaign last July, the only Nevada candidate he donated to this cycle. Friday, Broidy resigned as deputy RNC finance chair after the Wall Street Journal reported he’d paid $1.6 million in hush money to a former Playboy model he got pregnant. The settlement deal was negotiated by Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen, who is under criminal investigation by the Department of Justice.
