Reno Police are investigating a kidnapping attempt, involving a two year old girl. It happened April 14th in Moana Park, a family was there watching a soccer game, when a man tried to walk the child out of the park holding her hand. Then he was confronted by the child’s father. The 2 year old was unhurt. The suspect is described as a white male adult between 5’10” and 6’00” tall. He has brown and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt or jacket as he ran through the parking lot. Detectives with the Robbery Homicide Unit and the Sex Crimes / Child Abuse Unit are actively investigating the case and would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and potentially witnessed the suspect or the events.
