Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows confirms a skier died after an accident at the resort. It happened at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday. The resort says a 33-year-old man from Kings Beach fell while skiing at Alpine Meadows in the Keyhole area. Ski Patrol responded and initiated first aid and CPR. The North Tahoe Fire Department and Placer County Sheriff’s Office both responded to the scene. Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows released a statement extending sympanthy to the young man’s family and friends.
