Sparks Police confirm a man’s body was found in the Truckee River near Spice Island Drive in Sparks Tuesday. According to Police, a man was walking his dog along the river when he found what appeared to be a body submerged near the shore. The body had injuries, but they were likely caused by floating down the river. Police say it is possible he entered the river somewhere up stream. According to police, the death was not recent.
